Breathing to Engage the Diaphragm

Here is a simple exercise to engage the diaphragm while breathing.

Breathing is the fundamental movement pattern of life. It is essential that we are breathing properly by engaging the diaphragm in order to have core and spinal stability. It also helps to reduce tension in the secondary breathing muscles in the neck and upper back that are often over loaded due to poor posture and stress.

Correct breathing is beneficial to every system in our bodies and every aspect of health.
