Acupuncture for Prevention of Tension-Type Headaches: Research

The most common type of headaches are Tension-Type headaches, also known as cervicogenic headaches. These are headaches that stem from tension in the soft tissues (muscles and fascia) and joints of the cervical spine. These soft tissues and joints can refer pain to different areas in the head. Irritated nerves from the cervical spine can also cause and contribute to these headaches.

Our successful approach to relieving headaches and correcting their causes includes acupuncture, Stecco Fascial Manipulation, A.R.T., chiropractic joint manipulation, cold laser therapy, nutritional interventions, postural correction and functional rehabilitation.
